This curation came forth out of group exhibition run by Rotterdamphoto. The theme of the show is was PLANETHUMAN. Thinking about the work to create for this exhibition, it made me look at two different words. What is PLANET? And what is HUMAN?
The perspective these images come from is of a woman. A person that has traveled, has met people along the way and everything that comes with life. It crosses many realities and realms.
The world we live in now has turned into a chaos. Humanity has many problems at the moment and who has the right solution? We can talk about pandemics, wars, climate, inequality, food, religion, culture and education amongst many others. This selection of images are an interpretation inspired by the movement of surrealism. A dream-like world.
